Who is Vaishnavi? Where is Vaishnavi? What is Vaishnavi? Why is Vaishnavi?

An heiress to a business? Anywhere but on the scooter? A phenomenon? Pongal? My search for answers has only led to more questions.

Meet Vaishnavi, when she is not giving you her iconic, sticker-worthy cheeky grin, you'll find her sporting one of two expressions: a sly smirk that hints at hidden mischief, or an eye roll so well executed, I can imagine her eyes rolling all the way back to her brain and going “Are you seeing this bs?” She claims to be an ardent believer of Phil’s-osophy, makes me wonder how many zoos have blacklisted her for “freeing the animals she loved”, except the tigers of course.

If you happen to spot an Eddie riding a scooter, that's---probably not Vaishnavi. The sidewalks or the passenger seat are more her style. You’re more likely to spot her if you search for a backpack studded with an assortment of keychains, ranging from The Deathly Hallows to GoT and more.

Need a hand with something? Vaishnavi has your back covered, and if you happen to be an installation it’s about to be covered with a ton of paper-mâché. During ||SHABD||, you might have gazed at the Spiderman installation and thought "Yoo that Spidey thicc af boiii!" You have Vaishnavi to thank for. If you haven't taken a look yet, I am offended on her behalf, she didn't put all her sweat and passion, working tirelessly to achieve perfection, for you to simply ignore it all, do yourself a favour next time and go take a look now, but for all the care she had for Spiderman, she hates spiders and bugs, please give her a heads up about all the bugs in a mile radius around her.

Vaishnavi’s food habits are a delightful mystery. I remember this one time when she pulled out a tiny box she called “Breakfast”. After generously offering everyone a taste, she took quite a long time to finish what was left, almost as long as it took her one time to figure out that she wasn’t holding a menu for ice-creams. Her love for Pongal, however, is legendary, best described by her iconic line, "More Pongal = More Punya", which also explains her sweet nature. I must confess that I was reasonably surprised when I saw her purchasing a lemonade and she handed them money instead of lemons. I was like “What?!”

Rumour has it, that she loves shopping, so much so that the delivery guys have started to identify her and joke about practically living by her doorstep. A fact is that she loves perfumes, as a connoisseur of fragrances, she has a deep passion for collecting and trying out fancy perfumes, colognes, creams, scents, and anything that smells good.

Vaishnavi is very crafty, resourceful, and an exceptionally talented artist, she has become somewhat of a phenomenon, both figuratively and for being named after an incident that the art section likes to keep it shrouded in a playful mystery. Forget the bulky laptops, she prefers her sleek iPad, and if found with her stylus, it means she is busy crafting something that only reveals itself to those lucky enough to catch a glimpse.

This classy Eddie has shown time and again that she can handle more than her own and is always up for a challenge. I can't wait to see what surprises she has up her sleeve!
One question remains unasked, how is Vaishnavi? Let's call her...
