Ninaad A Kaller

Ninaad A Kaller

Ninni boy

Graduated, ISE

Introducing the Meme Lord of the Editorial Board - Ninaad A. K., aka Ninni from the GuTaNiYa gang, who insists on calling himself Ninaad ‘Ashton’ Kaller (because obviously, the guy from the English section had to go full British with it). According to a highly confidential source, he can apparently nail a British accent. Not that we've ever heard it.

I'm genuinely grateful for the opportunity to write his belt - not to hype him up, but to let everyone know about the tiny (but very real) grudge I still hold against him for creating that meme which singlehandedly birthed the infamous shvn language. All because I skip a few vowels while typing. One meme, and suddenly it's a whole dialect-and my legacy. Thank you, Ninaad:/

When he's not busy dropping memes that send group chats into chaos, Ninaad is basically a walking encyclopedia of geo-political affairs. National, international, historical, ongoing—you name it, he knows it. He will happily sit and talk to you about anything related to it for hours, the rise of the Chinese Communist Party? Hell yea. The political landscape of Kerala? Yess sir. History of any country or talk about any historic or ongoing wars? Yess please. A piece of advice from one of your friends (not me)—you might want to tone it down a bit if you actually plan on staying out of jail.:)

According to a very credible source who may or may not have shared a room with him, he'd set two to three alarms, each with a different sound, spaced half an hour apart and then either snooze them, ignore them completely, or somehow sleep through them all, leaving the source to wake him up from across the room by shouting his name every 30 minutes. The root cause? Likely those unrealistic plans of waking up at 6 or 7AM after staying up until 1 or 2 the night before. Classic Ninaad logic. That said, the source also adds that he's comforting to hang out with, super chill, always smiling, and incredibly easy to vibe with. Having him as a roommate was a complete no-brainer. And yes, he's gotten much better with the alarms lately - probably out of guilt for dragging the whole room into his chaotic morning routine. >_<

As someone who is an actual Malayali, I can confidently say this—Ninaad speaks more Malayalam than most Malayalis I know. And to be fair, he was in Kerala for a while... but still, the man throws around Malayalam phrases with more flair than my own relatives. I'm both amazed and mildly jealous.

Ninaad, unfortunately, missed our last KR all thanks to being high on paracetamol. And I've got to say, the board definitely missed this crazy, fun, sweet and sassy Eddie that day. I hope he makes it to SHABD and slays. Having him as an Eddie was a complete no-brainer as well.

P.S. I hope that Ninaad starts meme-making KT sessions before the end of the 2025 era— because the juniors also deserve to suffer(and thrive) under those crazy memes like we did.
